How does Sync with PayPal work?
Sync with PayPal imports your sales transactions, bank transfers, and expenses from PayPal into QuickBooks. Each sale in PayPal is synced to QuickBooks as a sales receipt, with detailed information such as the item sold, quantity, discounts, taxes, and so on. PayPal fees are also imported as an expense, so fees are recognized and appear correctly in your accounts. Likewise, bank transfers (to or from PayPal) and PayPal expenses are also imported to keep your account accurate.
How is Sync with PayPal different from the bank download for PayPal in QuickBooks Online?
The main difference between the Bank Connection center in QuickBooks and the Sync with PayPal app is the way certain transactions are handled. Only one of these connections can be active at the same time. The PayPal integration app is automatically turned off if the Bank Connection center integration is turned on. We are working with PayPal to find a way to allow both integrations and merge the transactions.
How much does Sync with PayPal cost?
The best part is that this helpful app is free to all U.S. QuickBooks customers. Sync with PayPal is currently available in the U.S. only.
